Brief: To create a series of seascapes in Cornwall of man-made structures meeting the sea
Commissioned by: Harbour Brewery Company
Harbour Brewery are now a global business and export their excellent beer all over the world. When they started, with just a micro brewery on a small table and lots of great ideas, they commissioned me to shoot some seascapes that encapsulated their north Cornish roots and to establish their brand. Dark, brooding images, often shot at night, during storms over a long winter followed.
I loved it. Scouring the coastline for good spots, climbing down cliffs to get the right vantage point, long exposures (often minutes long), standing in the dark & rain shielding my camera and tripod.
Harbour were one of my first Cornish clients and I love working for them.
