Brief: Portraits and action photography of St John Ambulance staff covering various events

I have been working for St John Ambulance since 2015 photographing their product catalogue, portraits for their website and first aid training courses.
This commission was to capture portraits and action of staff while they were working, providing medical cover at various events around the UK, as well as any action shots.
My previous portraits for St John Ambulance had been studio based but I persuaded the charity that informal portraits of their staff actually at work would be much more dynamic for website and marketing use. People want to see the real people – and at work. At times the photography was very sensitive because I of the nature of their work – but I was given incredible access to their staff and captured some great moments.
