Brief: To photograph gallery interiors and products for website use
Commissioned by: Far & Wild Living
In 2018 the beautiful, upmarket Far & Wild gallery opened its doors on Perranporth high street and I was commissioned to photograph the first hanging, the interiors and products, as well as some beach landscapes to give some local flavour. I was also working to the specific image shapes and sizes required by the web developers – when images are cropped from a standard 3:2 ratio to square or letterbox shapes. This makes a huge difference to the way you shoot a brief.
For interiors photography, detail and depth of field are key. I was using the incredibly light and high-resolution Sony A7R3 cameras and prime lenses which I love, especially for slower commissions and lifestyle work.
