Brief: To photograph the five day event including delegates, speakers, company stands and after-party

CISCO Live is an annual IT innovation event held in a major European city and involves thousands of delegates, cutting edge speakers, forums and workshops. As part of a team put together by the Ebsworth photography agency, my role was to cover specific conferences as well as document the everyday routine, business stands, CISCO branding and general environment of the vast Messe venue in east Berlin.
Images were required to be uploaded every day for client use on social media so it was a frenetic week of shoot/edit/upload/repeat! Perhaps unusually for such a large corporate event, the content was often fascinating – but the challenge as a photographer was to create dynamic and visually interesting speaker shots as well as unusal and animated images of delegates.
