In the early summer I was in action as the photographer at a wonderful wedding at the equally wonderful Caerhayes Castle in south Cornwall – the perfect venue for a celebrity wedding. The problem is I can’t show any people photographs – only a handful of landscape shots! Such is the predicament of the celebrity wedding photographer sometimes…
So no shots of the bride & groom racing way from the church on a vintage Triumph and sidecar…no shots of them walking barefoot across the sand at Portluney Cove at sunset…and no shots of the great reception & party in the marquee on the castle lawn overlooking the sea.
Hey ho…just occasionally I am bound by privacy clauses – and often for good reason. Photographing weddings is always an intimate process and not everyone wants their photographs plastered all over the internet or on social media.

However, it doesn’t take anything away from what was a great wedding in 2015 – a perfect summer’s day, a tiny ancient Cornish church packed to bursting, definitely the coolest venue in Cornwall and a rock n’roll (that’s the best clue I’m giving you…!) couple doing it their way. I thoroughly enjoyed my top secret mission as a celebrity wedding photographer.
