Brief: To photograph the annual awards ceremony and dinner event

Youngs are a great company who reward their staff with regular events including lavish Christmas parties and an awards night for the best performers. But then you would expect a brewery to be able to throw a good party.
My role for several years has been to photograph these events which is always great fun and produces riotous pictures, most of which I can’t show here!
Event photography is all about people and capturing them enjoying themselves…but it’s important to also show the wider picture of a dinner event: the table settings, the food, the decorations and the backroom staff. I do all this and Youngs keep asking me back which I’m very happy to do.
