Brief: Produce website and magazine/press images for a new gym and personal fitness training

Johnny’s brand new, bespoke gym was a great space to photograph in. For a start he is a very fine looking man (so the portraits were easy) and the gym was well lit and branded. We also had a selection of excellent models – who because I insist on shooting reportage/in real time, got a proper workout from Johnny…which I’m not sure they were expecting.
I really enjoy this kind of work as it means I can use my small Sony cameras and prime lenses, rather than lugging big DSLRs around. It means I’m much less intrusive and can capture those key moments with subtlety.
