Brief: Series of portraits of Hunters & Frankau senior staff

Hunters & Frankau import the very best Cuban cigars to their warehouse in London for UK distribution – and they commissioned me to photograph their senior staff at the warehouse in a series of formal portraits – with and without cigars.
Corporate headshots are a staple in many photographers’ lives and while as a style it’s diametrically opposite to my reportage approach, I still enjoy shooting them. As a photographer you’re in control. You choose the location, you set up the clean background, you position your lights…then away you go. It’s a much more considered, deliberate way of working.
