Watergate Bay Hotel has become a top destination family beach holiday brand so it’s obvious to see why I photograph there so much – both families and also weddings. It’s an easy ‘yes’ and it’s always a pleasure to be shooting on a beach that I know so well.
The Hunts asked me to join them for a morning of their holiday at the hotel. Five grandkids. Three generations. Two miles of pristine Cornish beach. One blazing hot English summer’s day.
Beach cricket and rock jumping, every photographic combination of child/parent/grandparent/sibling, solo portraits, big group shots, all those little unguarded moments…we did it all.
